Flying home from Baltimore…very cool…first time I’ve ever used internet on a flight. I wish I would have a fully charged battery on my computer since the flight is 5 ½ hours to get home, but this is good, since I hate being stuck on a plane with no cell phone access (yes, I am a blackberry addict) and no internet access (the reason I have the addiction to the “crackberry”). Work! I’ve become a workaholic…Why? Struggling to keep my business alive! Things have taken a severe nosedive (perhaps, the economy…website problems…the fact that the internet is saturated with websites, free material, Youtube, etc etc etc). Anyway, at times I feel like throwing the entire business in the trash and I feel so depressed about things that I just want to run away and give up…but after my downward spiral, I start thinking creatively again and come up with some new idea that I think will set me apart from the rest of the industry. After all , without sounding conceited, I set the blueprint for the wrestling industry as it is today. I was the first girl to travel…long before there was wb270.com. When I moved to Los Angeles from New York City, I missed my clients. I would fly back to New York and wrestle “my guys”! (Actually Deena Zarra was the first with her Whistle Stop Tours, but I don’t think she did many…What a great name though…Whistle Stop Tour! Love it!) Then Malibu, who was a friend of mine, started to travel with a couple of body builders…then more bodybuilders and more bodybuilders!!! I was the small one out of the girls in this industry! But, my love for wrestling fueled my desire to win or at least do my best and overcome bigger and stronger opponents, I have continually done my best to fine tune my craft and this drive has helped me to evolve into a stronger wrestler. The wrestlers who were traveling, in the early 90’s, was growing. That was around 1992 that I started traveling. Who knew it would grow into such a huge operation! OMG, what would all of you do without Bill from WB270.com??? This guy is amazing and he runs that whole site and asks for nothing in return.
I had one of the very first websites on the net and in the beginning, with Webdude, things were so great! And I don’t want to mention here, why things went wrong, but they did. I liked the days, when I could just hone my craft, be creative, produce videos and wrestle. I had time for other things I loved then. I painted. I played the piano and I had time for my friends. Nowadays, I work. I battle with my website. I try to figure out why videos aren’t selling. I’ve joined many message boards and yahoo groups, a thing I said I would never do. I travel so much that when I’m home, I’m constantly trying to catch up on all the loose ends there. My house needs attention. My garden needs attention. My bills need attention. My dogs need constant attention, but that’s another story. Don’t worry, they are well looked after when I’m away. They are my first priority. What would I do without them! Anyway…What is my point? Oh yes, here I am working on the internet on my flight back home…
You know, I’m not complaining, just expressing myself. I love what I do, and I just want to succeed. I have setbacks like everyone else. My life, certainly, isn’t easy. But I am lucky enough to make my own choices (good or bad) and my life, overall is very blessed. Many people ask me, “how long are you going to do this?” and I wonder why they are asking me this? I’ll do it as long as I am enjoying it. And as long as you are enjoying me!
OK, so here is the latest creative idea that I’m working on and I hope I can pull it off! I think many of you know that I’m going to have my 5th Live Event on August 15 in downtown Los Angeles. It will be held in a huge loft that normally hosts live music events and parties over a live feed to Liveuniverse.com on the internet. My event will run the same as previous events. There will be 6 – 8 matches (competitive) and it will start at 3 PM and end around 7 PM. I’m trying to work out the technical part of this to make it a professional pay per view event, as well as a spectator event. All my events are quite small. Only a certain number of seats are available. If you are interested in attending you should email me or phone me asap. I’ve already received a number of people who are interested. So please let me know and please don’t wait to the last minute…So far here is the line up!!! Me (of course!), Helen Von Mott, Kristiana, Frankie Z, Liz Lightspeed, Ariel X, Scarlett Devine, Kristy Etzold, Christine Dupree are the confirmed wrestlers who will attend. I have invited several more but I’m waiting to hear back. Once I have the exact number of wrestlers, I will start to decide who will match up best with whom…If you are coming to the event or want to sponsor one of the matches, I’ll welcome your ideas.
During the event there will be an open bar with 2 of the hottest female bartenders in Los Angeles. Just seeing these gorgeous gals will be worth the price of admission alone! Hee hee! There will also be finger foods during the event.
But, I’m going to try to use this space more effectively because of the professional set up with the cameras and do a live pay per view of the event. I have to work this out and talk to a lot of people so this weekend and next week will be very hectic! I’ll let you know if I can get the pay per view of the event sorted. It’s a lot of work, but if it can be done, it will be done.
After the event, there will be a party in the same space. The girls will be able to invite their friends…and the guests can invite a guest if they like. There will be a cash bar from 7 PM – 11 PM. Also there will be entertainment, music…I’m thinking of bringing in a pole for the girls to pole dance, etc. There will be wrestling games, dancing a lot of fun!
This is coming together and will be a great event that you won’t want to miss!
There will be no admission at the door. You must pay in advance and the address will not be given out to anyone who has not paid to attend.

Back to sessions…I had such a great time in Chicago, Cleveland and Baltimore with the special people who came to see me! I love you guys! I just want you to know that. So thank you so much. OK, my battery is getting a little low so I’m going to end this now(my computer battery , that is!) I’ve blabbed on long enough. OOOH! One last thing…getting back to the question of how long will I be doing this? Well, eventually, when I move forward in my life, and make a choice of what I will do next, I will always have “the wrestler” inside me because that wrestler is the child within me. And I will never let that child go away!! So even when I have retired from this business, you can be sure that I will be wrestling until my last days in this life and perhaps in my next life , too…Does that answer your question?
