Michael Jackson’s Memorial…his death haunted my thoughts today. I woke up very early to the sound of helicopters over Hollywood, obviously helicopters flying over Forest Lawn Cemetary. I fell back to sleep and my dreams were haunted by Michael Jackson, who I had been in love with when I was 13 years old….so “in love” that I had a crush on his look alike, a boy at my middle school. I used to walk by this kid’s house…why? Because he was adorably cute like Michael Jackson. When I was young, I was extremely influenced by music and Michael Jackson moved me with his amazing talent for many years. I never believed he was a child molester, defending him to the end. I feel he was so blessed with talent and at the same time cursed with a fragile soul, full of insecurities, so much so that he continued to alter himself physically. He wanted to recapture his lost childhood. He should have been allowed to be a child instead of beaten into being a star. His life was both amazing and tragic. My neighbor was doing the wigs for his upcoming tour and he told me that Michael was extremely softspoken, polite and kind. I just want to say, that the news of his death was a shock…I was training in Wild Card Boxing gym when I heard it on the radio. I didn’t believe it. I texted my neighbour, Clyde, right away, and he confirmed it was true. So sad…I guess people have taken his death personally because he touched their lives with his music. In the moment of someone’s death, we focus on the positive. He was a star, but he was also a human being, and none of us are perfect.

I am working on putting my Live Event together for August 15. I have a big meeting tomorrow at the space. I’m trying to work out the logistics of doing a pay per view of the entire afternoon, as well as a limited seating for you special people who are able to be there in person!!! I will have more news tomorrow as well as a list of the girls who will be wrestling. So far these outstanding girls have confirmed they will attend…Julie Squeeze, Frankie Z., Liz Lightspeed, Kristiana, Ariel X, 2 new girls and of course, ME!!! There will be a minimum of 6 competitive matches and I’m hoping for more!!! The more attendees, the more money I have for entertainment! There will be a bar and food, live music entertainment a gorgeous bartender (female of
course) and possibly another BBQ at my house after…I’m going to try to make this the best Event I’ve had!!! And, if you have been to the ones I’ve put on before, you know they are damn good fun!
OK, I’m off to bed now. I have a hectic day tomorrow and today was a somewhat emotional one for me…Life is special. I plan to embrace every moment, while I can.
Don’t forget that next week I will be traveling to Chicago, Cleveland and Baltimore, so email me at fightbabe@gmail.com if you would like to meet me for a super session!
