Hey Everyone! Happy Saturday! Things have been very very hectic lately. Lots to do and no time to keep up!
First, I want to tell you about the latest fun Community Pages on the website!!! Go check it out. Everyone can interact with each other and upload pics, etc…I’ll tell you more about it later, once I’ve had time to get there and learn how to use it properly!!! Since I’m busy traveling, I haven’t had much time for it!
The latest video update on the site is Riding my Pony Boy and Photo sets of Training my thighs on Horseback, Wrestling in Riding Boots and Breeches and Riding my pony boy!!! Enjoy!!!
Last Saturday at around noon, I came home to a rather unnerving situation! I was just about to have a wresting session, but the guy who I was wrestling had not yet arrived. I put out the wrestling mat in my living room and went to put my dogs (my 3 dogs and the 3 that I was doggie sitting) in my bedroom so they wouldn’t be tempted to join in my session! As I was putting them in the room, I heard a loud snoring! Now, the 6 dogs were to my left and the snoring was to my right in the corner of the room and under a little wooden cradle that my grandpa had made for me which is full of stuffed animals. I looked in surprise at this cradle. The snoring was very loud…more like loud heavy breathing! I knew it wasn’t the stuffed animals snoring so I quickly got the dogs out of the bedroom, ran to get a long flashlight and see what was in my bedroom..I moved the curtains slightly and bent down to peek under the cradle…very stressed when I saw a big snake curled up, sleeping!!!! At first I thought it was a rattle snake…I shut the bedroom door. The french doors to my bedroom that go to the outside were already closed, but I’m guessing that was how the snake got in. It’s been really hot in LA and I live one of the canyons in Hollywood… After shutting the door, I stuffed a towel under it. I ran up to my gaybour’s house and found Donald working in his yard. We went together and ran into the gardener who works in the neighbourhood and just as I was bringing him down, there was another neighbour driving by.
This particular guy has a bunch of pet snakes so I stopped him and asked him back to my bedroom (to help with the snake, of course!!!) So the four of us went down….I opened the french doors, slid the cradle away, and with a rake and a stick, woke up the poor snake who was very scared and aggressive! It looked like a rattler but without the rattle…I grabbed a cooler as the guy picked the snake up by his tail…The snake had big fangs and would have definitely bitten one of us, if he had the opportunity! But I was grateful to get him into the cooler and shut the lid without any further incident! Then “snake man” took him up to the road, in front of his house and let him go. I had asked him to drive the snake to the canyon across the freeway and let him go there, but he was too lazy.
Anyway, later I “googled” the snake and he was a gopher snake, not poisonous but probably could have had a painful bite! I was not happy about having that creature in my home…I’ve lived there almost 9 years. It’s the first time that I’ve had a problem with a snake, but there have been skunks and racoons in my yard…and plenty of snakes, bunnies, coyotes and gophers in the canyon…I hope this will be my first and only encounter with a snake, that close up and personal!!!
I will be traveling to Paris on May 23 and stay until June 1. Then off to London on June 2 and 3. Back to LA on the 4th…
June 15 and 16, I will be in Chicago…then I will be making plans for NYC, Cleveland, San Francisco in July…
I hope to see many of you! I have a lot to catch up from, so if you’ve sent me an email and have not heard back, you will soon.
That’s it for now! Big hugs to you all!!!
Peace and Love,
Robin xxx
