Sorry it’s been sooooooo long since I’ve written…I think I’m going to start to do shorter entries and more often….because I keep telling myself that I’ll sit and write but I want to make sure I’m in the right frame of mind and have enough time to say what’s on my mind, but then there is never enough time to say all the things I want to say….
My life has been very unfocused for a while now. I try to do everything and by doing that, I seem to get very little done. I’ve had to travel a lot to bring home the bacon and when I get home from trips, the post is piled high and I have to get through it all. I have to catch up on bills and paperwork. My house is always in need of work…I hire people to do things and they aren’t done right. Right now my yard is a nightmare. I’m going to work in the yard myself today to try to make it look somewhat better…
I got home from Europe on Wednesday night. My jetlag was out of control. I think today I’m finally feeling “normal”. What is normal for me???? I don’t know. I definitely do not fit in the “normal” category even when I’m feeling normal! I’m still dealing with the pile of mail and I’ll sort through the rest of that today. I took my 3 doggies to get their teeth cleaned and baths at Rusty’s Pet Store yesterday morning! They came out looking happy and smiling like they’d just been to the beauty parlor. I’ve had the neighbour’s dogs staying with me for the past 3 nights, having sleep overs. It’s been fun. After my yoga class today, I’ll take all of them to the canyon for a hike. Then it’s MOVIE NIGHT so a few friends of mine will come over…and we’ll have a tribute to the Great Dennis Hopper! Movies of choice tonight will be Easy Rider and Blue Velvet!! Awesome movies! Have you seen them?
I’m working on 2 Mini Tournaments for either late June or July sometime…Here’s the girls I’m working on getting. For tournament 1: Dominique Danger, Ziggy, Helen Von Mott (but I’m having a hell of a time reaching her!), and possibly Jolie. (or even me!) and Tournament 2: Julie Squeeze, Dia Zerve, Jolie, Ariel and me…SO INTERESTED PERSONS, PLEASE EMAIL ME YOUR THOUGHTS! LET“S GET THIS ROLLING!!!
The last Mini Tournament with Lia Labowe (fresh out of retirement) sold ok. Not as good as it should have sold! What’s up with you guys? There aren’t too many companies who are shooting real competitive stuff these days and these matches are really awesome! We give our all and I think, if you love competitive stuff, you would love these matches.
Anyway…I think I’ll go shoot something in Malibu Beach this week. The weather is gorgeous (a bit hot) but I want to really enjoy this summer as much as possible so might as well work at the beach! Right?
I’m going to be traveling to Chicago next Sunday, June 13 and I will be there until Monday morning. I will be staying near the airport because at this short notice the hotels downtown were way too pricey. Please email me if you want to get together. I will also be traveling to NYC on June 24 and 25! So put me on your calendar!!!!
